Findings

This patient has suffered a fracture. Look carefully at both x-ray views.

  1. Can you identify the bone that has been fractured?

    Fibula

    Incorrect. The visible portion of the fibula is without fracture. Try again!
    Tibia

    Correct. This is a fracture of the tibial plateau. Take a look at both views to properly appreciated the extent of the fracture!
    Femur

    Incorrect. The visible portion of the femur is without fracture. Try again!
    Humerus

    Incorrect. The humerus is not shown here. Look carefully at the visible bones to identify which joint and which bones you are looking at. Try again!
